Un court circuit qui réunit deux des paysages les plus contrastés de Tanzanie.

Jour un : Tarangire — le pays des baobabs, où la rivière attire certains des plus grands troupeaux d'éléphants du nord et où l'avifaune est exceptionnelle. Nuit sur l'escarpement au-dessus du parc.

Jour deux : descente de 600 m dans le cratère du Ngorongoro, une caldeira effondrée abritant environ 25 000 grands animaux. C'est le meilleur endroit de Tanzanie pour voir le rhinocéros noir ; lions, éléphants et buffles sont quasi certains en une matinée.

Jour trois : retour à Arusha par l'escarpement de la vallée du Rift, avec un arrêt au marché maasaï si le timing le permet.

Arusha to Tarangire

Lunch Dinner

A short drive south-west brings us to Tarangire by mid-morning — baobab country, where the river pulls in the largest elephant herds in the northern circuit. We game drive through the afternoon and overnight on the escarpment above the park.

Tarangire to the Ngorongoro rim

Breakfast Lunch Dinner

A morning drive in Tarangire, then west across the Rift Valley floor and up onto the Ngorongoro rim. The afternoon is yours — the view from the rim is the point, and it changes every hour as the light moves across the caldera.

Crater floor, then back to Arusha

Breakfast Lunch

Down onto the crater floor at gate opening for the full six hours: lion, elephant, buffalo and — with a good morning — black rhino, all within the caldera walls. We climb out after lunch and reach Arusha by early evening.
