Better impossible

It is unfair to value an experience like the one we lived as if it had been a commercial deal — it was much more. Involvement, close treatment. Allan is a love, besides his eagle eyes and his concern that we were always at ease; Omari the best help. To mention the cook Yohane, with his assistants Elizabeth and Nicola, serving the food with such joy, with his songs and explanations — and if you thought it was impossible to eat better, the next day you were surprised. If you want to visit Africa not only for a safari but to feel it, Latest Safaris is your choice.

A beautiful and unforgettable experience

Allan is a wonderful guide — kind, caring, patient, attentive, and with an incredible knowledge of the parks. He has a truly trained eye for spotting and identifying rare animals and birds. We did a four-day safari with Latest Safaris with our two children, and Allan made the whole experience easy, comfortable and absolutely sensational. He recommended amazing lodges and accompanied us throughout our entire journey in Tanzania, from the very first pick-up at the airport to our departure. We will miss his warmth and will always remember this experience with great joy and affection.

Unique and epic adventure

It has been an amazing experience on safari with Latest Safaris from the moment Allan picked us up at the airport. All the accommodation was clean and professional — hotel, luxury lodge, public camp, luxury villa and hostel. We have seen a lot of animals, including the big five. Both Allan and Jackson have very good skills in finding the animals and a lot of knowledge about wildlife. The cultural visits to different ethnic groups were very good, and the company's commitment to local community development is clear. If anything describes Allan, it is that he is a great host and honours the hospitality and kindness with which he treats everyone. Asante sana.

Makuyuni, its stars and elephants

I have done two safaris again with Latest Safaris. I visited Manyara National Park and Makuyuni National Park, recently opened and well known to Latest Safaris. Both have been an amazing experience. Without a doubt, having spent several days camping in Makuyuni was the best — being able to sleep there under a lot of stars, listening to elephants and a lion near the camp, has been an adventure I will never forget. Camping meals were very tasty and generous. I definitely recommend this local company to all people who want to know the real Tanzania. The company is responsibly committed to the community and the environment.

Why you should choose Allan over European operators

At the end of January 2023 we went on a trip with Allan. We visited the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Tarangire National Park, and stayed a few nights in Mto wa Mbu — especially lovely because Allan comes from this town. During a safari you spend a lot of time together with the driver, so a good connection is important, and Allan provides this. He is an amazing guide and good company. He is considerate and listens to your wishes. We would highly recommend local guides and operators over European operators who transfer profits back to Europe instead of leaving the funds in Tanzania.

Fantastic safari trip with Latest Safaris

Two couples from Norway had three great days with Allan as our driver. He is a pleasant and reliable man, and his guiding was superb — he made sure we saw the wildlife we had hoped for. Highly recommended.

Amazing trip with Latest Safaris

Allan, our guide, and Pasco, our chef, were phenomenal. We camped at public sites for four nights and the wildlife sightings were spectacular. Pasco accommodated a vegan diet with outstanding meals throughout. An amazing trip.
